RECALL: Cosori recalling millions of air fryers for fire risk

Because their wiring connections could overheat and provide a fire risk, Cosori is recalling more than 2.2 million air fryers that were marketed in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The recall was jointly issued on Thursday by Health Canada and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The organizations advised everyone who owns an air fryer to stop using it right away, even if they haven’t had any problems.

Several model numbers in the 3.7-quart and 5.8-quart capacities are included in the recall. The Cosori brand name is displayed on the front of each unit. (See the complete list of goods below.)

Air fryers were sold in Canada from March 2019 to December 2022. They range in price from $95 to $175.
