Toronto has it’s first cm’s of Snow this year!
Yes, it happened… already! Toronto and Southern Ontario received a thick snowy blanket this morning. And you know what that means? Children joy and drivers nightmare has begun!

Environment Canada issued a Winter Weather Travel Advisory for Toronto and most of the GTA on Tuesday as snow winterized the city.
NUMEROUS COLLISIONS
Unusually warm weather during the past week has fooled many drivers into keeping Summer tires on the vehicles. Summer tires and winter weather is the sad but real formula for collisions.
“OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt told CP24 that there were several collisions amid the snowfall, including a single-vehicle rollover on eastbound Highway 407 just past Highway 410 in which road conditions could have been a factor”. – Source CP24
Police is urging everyone to get Winter tires on the vehicles as soon as possible. All season tires are fine but not as good as winter tires.
LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING FOR BUFFALO AND NORTHERN ERIE
If you have travel plans to drive to United States, maybe you should postpone your plans for later this week or next week. Weather Network has issued Lake Effect advisory for Buffalo and Northern Erie, where snow hight could reach from 18 – 30 cm.
