Swiss Tourist Orders Lobster in Luxurious Restaurant but Sets it Free Instead of Eating it
A married couple from Switzerland went out for dinner at the luxurious fish restaurant “Gente di Mare” in Sardinia, Italy while they ordered a lobster dinner. Instead of cooking it first, the couple wanted to see the lobster first. When the live lobster was brought to the table, still unprepared, the tourist decided to release it into the sea before it was cooked, writes the Daily Mail.

“At first I thought she was joking. When I realized she was trying to do a good deed and how happy and excited she was, I was touched too. She was really thrilled to save the lobster’s life,” said Antonio Fasolino, co-owner of the restaurant who witnessed this moment.
As he recounted the event in detail, Antonio said he took the lobster from the aquarium and went to weigh it in the kitchen. He told the couple that it weighs almost two kilograms, which costs 200 euros. He placed the lobster in a clear bucket next to the table. The tourist asked if the lobster would get hurt if she threw it from a height, and those present assured her that the animal would be fine. When she threw it into the sea, the lobster swam quickly to its newfound freedom.
